Welsh soccer player Aaron Ramsey has increased the bounty for leads regarding the missing dog named Halo to $$20k.

The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who now plays for Pumas UNAM in the capital, revealed that Halo was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato zone.

The beagle, who went missing on October 9th, was had on a dog tracker collar, and the footballer posted a map pinpoint of the spot she vanished from.

"Any sort of news concerning our beloved Halo please get in touch with us. Big bounty for finding her. We are all wishing she is unharmed and comes home to our family shortly," the athlete shared on social media.

Initial Bounty and Emotional Pleas

The footballer first revealed that his dog had disappeared 14 days prior and has since uploaded multiple images of the beloved pet on his social media account.

A £7.5k incentive was first announced, but with absence of information on the dog's whereabouts after a week, Ramsey and his family doubled the sum.

"We just want our girl home," he said in another request on his online platforms after the elderly dog was lost.

A recent photograph share is a grayscale photo of Halo snoozing, her head lying in the curve of Ramsey's elbow, with the description: "What I'd do to embrace you one last time sweet Halo."

Household's Concerns and Background

The footballer has also shared a note from his spouse Colleen on online channels indicating they have several "serious concerns" about the disappearance and are concerned the household "might not receive answers".

"We still haven't found our dog. I don't think we will," the spouse's post expressed.

The Welsh captain joined Mexico's top-flight team Pumas UNAM earlier this year and had his inaugural match in Liga MX in the eighth month.

The Caerphilly-born footballer is the initial well-known British player to play in the Liga MX.
