According to latest statistics, the population of centenarians in the UK has increased twofold from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
From 2004 and 2024, the number of male individuals reaching 100 has grown by 200% from 910 to 3,100. During the same timeframe, the number of female individuals reaching 100 almost doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
We are excited to listen to centenarians, their loved ones or friends, about what it has been like to bear witness to the past century’s transformative changes and developments.
